All concerts take place in the parking lot at the Museum of the Coastal Carolinas on Ocean Isle Beach and best of all they’re FREE! The Legacy Motown Review will play Motown music this weekend!

This weekend only, enjoy Mater Fest celebrating the area’s top tomatoes! Enjoy activities for all ages. The Shallotte Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday through September from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. Here you will find locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as handcrafted items such as pottery, jewelry, glassware and homemade bread, cakes, and cookies. Enjoy shopping in the open air filled with music by local musicians.

Sea Turtle Talks take place at 7:00 pm Sunday evenings during the nesting months. Members of the Sunset Beach Turtle Watch Program will discuss the life cycle of sea turtles, show a movie about nesting loggerhead sea turtles and answer your questions about these gentle giants that nest on our beaches every summer.
