April 2003 — Ocean Ridge Plantation’s three “Big Cat” golf courses received a roar of applause from one of the leading surveyors of American travel, ZagatSurvey®. ZagatSurvey teamed up with ESPN to produce “2003: America’s Top Golf Courses,” now available in bookstores.
May 2003 — Tiger’s Eye Golf Links has been named one of “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses 2003 – 2004” by Golf Digest magazine.
May 2003 — Golf Digest’s “Best in State” rankings list Tiger’s Eye 14th best course in the entire state of North Carolina.
January 2004 — Tiger’s Eye was named “Best Overall Golf Course” by readers of Myrtle Beach Golf Magazine in the 2003 annual “Beach’s Best in Golf” poll, as well as “Most Picturesque Course.” Tiger’s Eye Par 3, hole #2 was recognized as the “Best Par 3.” Ocean Ridge also received honors for “Best Course For Women”—Panther’s Run; “Best Course for Seniors” —Panther’s Run; “Best Golf Course Restaurant” — Tamer’s; and “Best Instructors” — Ocean Ridge Golf Academy.

November 2008 – Leopard’s Chase was selected to host an episode of the Golf Channel’s “Road Trip: Myrtle Beach.” A celebrity foursome, consisting of ESPN golf analyst and former PGA Tour player Charlie Rymer, Hootie and the Blowfish guitarist Mark Bryan, singer/songwriter Josh Kelley and LPGA Futures Tour player Perry Swenson, played a match that was televised in heavy rotation on the Golf Channel throughout the winter of 2008-2009.
April 2009 – Tiger’s Eye and Leopard’s Chase both ranked in the top 35 of Business North Carolina Magazine’s “Top 100 Golf Courses in North Carolina,” which includes both public and private courses.
April 2009 – Ocean Ridge Plantation was chosen Best of Brunswick Reader’s Choice Award – First Place-Best Golf Facility.

April 2019 – Leopard’s Chase® and Tiger’s Eye® were ranked #47 and #53 respectively among all private, public and resort golf courses in the state by Business North Carolina Magazine and The NC Golf Panel. There are over 600 golf courses in North Carolina meaning both Big Cats courses are ranked well inside the Top 10%.
April 2019 – Leopard’s Chase® and Tiger’s Eye® were ranked #11 and #15 respectively among all public and semi-private golf courses in the state by Business North Carolina Magazine and The NC Golf Panel. They are the two highest ranking public courses in The Coastal Region of the state.
