Joining the Big Cats family at Ocean Ridge Plantation is Leopard's Chase, our 4th award-winning golf course. This $14 million dollar work of art, designed by Tim Cate, celebrated its debut in the fall of 2006. Since then, it has received stellar reviews and has set a new standard of excellence in the coastal Carolinas by being ranked #10 by Golf Digest as the "Best New Public Golf Course in America," placing the course at #1 in the Carolinas for 2007. In addition, it was also ranked #7 by Golf Magazine for "Best New Golf Course in America."

Leopard's Chase offers many challenges and panoramic views. This par 72 course is as scenic as it is enjoyable to play. You will encounter forced carries, generous landing areas and dramatic elevation changes. As you travel the 18 holes you will also notice a varied terrain accompanied by stunning natural vistas. One of the many distinguishing characteristics of this Cate creation is the masterful use of the natural and man-made water features that appear throughout the entire layout. Featuring magnificently manicured L-93 bentgrass greens, this coastal masterpiece is truly a vision to behold.

And just when you think you've seen it all, the biggest architectural splash of all awaits on the 18th hole, where the steeply undulating green is fronted by a spectacular cascading waterfall.
